Christmas Day and catching up on some posts

Eric and I enjoyed our last Christmas morning sleeping in (Molly slept in until after 9:00 a.m.) now that she knows what happens on Christmas morning we don't expect that to happen again. Christmas was a big hit with Molly, opening presents took about two hours and she loves all of her gifts! It was a real southern California Christmas, we went to a restaurant down by the beach and enjoyed brunch on an outdoor terrace. Once again Molly had people fawning all over her. Who could resist such a sweetie in her Christmas dress!

We finally had a chance to catch up on some blog posts, so there's lots of new stuff following this post.

Here is a slide show of our Christmas morning, it was the best one yet!

Visiting Santa's workshop at the Grove

We didn't think Molly was ready to sit on Santa's lap this year but she had a great time exploring his workshop at the Grove Shopping Mall.

Molly loves water and one of her favorite things is watching the big fountain at the Grove. The first time we visited this holiday season we arrived just in time for the big show with dancers and music and the big finish when they magically make it snow in sunny Los Angeles.

We got so many great photos that day that I just have to post a slide show.

A chef in the making

Molly pulled out her chef's jacket the other day and decided it was time to try it on. I can't believe it fits her already!

Molly loves helping Mom cook and she really enjoyed baking and decorating Christmas cookies. She did a great job and made it way more fun than ever before.

Playing dress up with Daddy

The other day after nap time Eric decided to play dress up with Molly. He thought he would put her in the most ridiculous combination of clothing and make her look silly and make Mom laugh. He forgot our girl looks great in anything!

The perfect Granddaughter

Molly has proven again that she has tons of love to give and so many smiles to share you can't ever wear them out. Grandma & Grandpa B. came to visit for a long weekend and we enjoyed a morning at the park. This time Grandma got into the act but Grandpa is one visit up on her so he got some special treatment and extra special smiles.
