Eric has been very busy working two jobs in hopes of giving him some freedom to take some time off when we come back from China with Gracie. Molly and I miss him terribly and are doing our best to stay busy. Last week I decided to take Molly on an overnight trip to Disney. The first day was just me and my girl and on the second day her friend Gavin and his Daddy and Grandma joined us. I was a little nervous venturing on an overnight trip with Molly on my own, especially one to Disney. But Molly was so well behaved! She was such a good listener and we had so much fun; the only thing that could have made the trip better was to have Dad along.
On day 1 I thought for sure we were going to have a tantrum on our hands when we entered the gift shop at the castle and she wanted to try on all the princess dresses. Molly is full blown into the princess dress-up phase and I didn't know how I was going to get out of there without a princess dress. I had to find a way because there was no way I was spending
$65 on a princess dress, we buy ours on craigslist! Turns out all I had to do was let her try on a few and that was enough for her. They don't make it easy every ride spits you right into a gift shop with all the characters from the ride you just came off of. I explained to Molly that we wouldn't be buying any toys the first day and that she could look at all the toys and pick one gift right before we go home. Amazingly enough she was happy with a little time to play with the toys and know that she would get one toy the next day. As we were leaving the park she decided she wanted to go to the princess store and picked out the princess figurine set.
Molly's favorite ride is the Winnie-the-pooh ride. We went on that one three times in a row! Then she got her picture taken with a couple of her friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Molly recently discovered lollipops and here she is enjoying her second one ever!

Hopefully Dad will be able to join us on our next visit.
