Molly gets political

It's hard to get any video of her since all she wants is to see her own image in the monitor. I'll try to get better. Now that she is talking there are quite a lot of precious moments. Who knew she was such an activist?

More photos

I'm on a roll with the pictures. Molly is again a perfect model and so is her Mom. Of course that's easy when the direction is to kiss Molly and smile.

New photos

Well we've reached a milestone. Molly went down for a nap today and then about 15 min later we looked up and there she was standing in the kitchen. She has figured out how to get out of her crib. We moved her escape ladder - her giant Panda Bear from Nana G and Poppy - but we fear that the genie is out of the bottle.
The other thing today is that we should get to see proofs from our photo session with Trish soon. Inspired by that and with Molly wide awake I decided to shoot some photos. This is a good batch. I totally ripped off Trish's style of natural lighting and simple backgrounds which I am a fan of also. Marie hates that the M on Molly's wall is too crooked so I need to fix that. But, until I do, here is a batch of great photos.

One year ago

Welcome to our new blog layout. Marie did some research and found some new templates so I hope you like it for a refreshing change. A new feature is the Subscribe feature to the right. You can click on that and get notified when a new post is up so you don't have to check back day after day when we get lazy about posting.

We went today to a fall festival in Marina Del Rey that we went to last year so I took the chance to shoot some pictures to compare Molly one year later. Here she is playing in the same fountain. My how she's grown. Today she had a heart painted on her face and her hair is a little wild because she yanked out the pigtails she had in but look at how long it is!!!

We (thankfully) don't have pictures to share but the potty training is coming along well. Our plan is to have Molly fully trained by the time Grandpa gets here. Fingers crossed.

our fairy princess

The woman who cuts Molly's hair and mine thinks Molly is just the most beautiful sweetest thing she has ever seen and says she looks like a little fairy out of a storybook. I may be biased but I agree completely! Dad got her some fairy wings the other day because he felt she needed more dress up clothes. She loved them immediately and began dashing around and "flying".
