House construction

Mom and Molly continued their holiday tradition of building a gingerbread house from scratch. It turned out quite well if I do say so. Molly can't quite understand why she isn't allowed to eat it right away. Special thanks to Molly's friend Matilida for coming over for the home building party. Her house was a stunner too.
We also can't get over how much Marie and Molly look alike in the photo here. It was just meant to be. Now let's see if Gracie looks like Dad...

Meeting the Big Guy

Molly is really starting to get the idea of Santa Claus. I don't know that she knows he will bring her presents yet but she has read several books about him and sure does recognize him everywhere we go. Her first face-to-face meeting went very well. She walked right up to him and jumped on his lap, gave him a big hug and smiled for her pictures. Christmas is in the air!
